Advocacy
Many
senior programs and services are dependent upon federal,
state, and local government funding. Most
legislation regarding senior
issues are significantly influenced by senior advocacy
organizations. Fulton County provides funding to support
this effort through the
Fulton County Council on Aging which is a
private non-profit agency. Other opportunities exist
with local participation as a Fulton
County delegate through the following organizations:
