In-Home
Services
The Fulton County
Office of Aging provides In-Home Services in three
(3) categories: Homemaker Services,
Personal Care Services,
and Respite. Seniors who are 60 years of age and older and
those who have been
authorized by a Case Manager are
eligible to receive this service.

A senior who has
trouble with strenuous housework such as vacuuming, mopping,
doing laundry, dusting, etc.
would be assisted by this
service. An aide would visit them regularly to assist with
housekeeping chores.
Personal
Care Services deal with the seniors physical needs. The
Personal Care Aide would assist with bathing,
washing hair,
changing dressings, etc. The senior would be visited by an
aide at a frequency determined by the Case Manager.
Respite
Services provide an opportunity for caregivers to
conduct business outside the home. This service also
gives them an
opportunity for a break from the rigors of care
giving with the assurance that their loved one is still in a
safe environment. Respite s
services are administered at a
frequency determined by the Case Manager. |
